KCMU College Medical Student Rotation

ENT is a required student rotation for the Medical students from the Kilimanjaro Christian Medical University College (KCMU College). Groups of students (approximately 20 at a time), are assigned a one-month ENT rotation during a few months of the academic year. Medical student education is hardly interactive and lessons are rattled off. It is unlikely that much of the information is absorbed by the students. More interaction is of great importance. The teaching of the supporting staff in the field of audiometry, speech pathology, etc. is important to the advance of the ENT department as a whole. Participation of foreign visitors in the teaching of the medical students is very much appreciated.
